About Us

We are a family-owned business based in New Mexico, dedicated to providing a loving farewell for pets and animals that go unclaimed. Whether they are wild animals, lost pets that couldn’t make it back home, or pets whose owners face financial hardships or other challenges, we believe every animal deserves respect and dignity both in life and after death.

Our journey began with a shared love for animals. My wife, who fostered many pets that eventually found their forever homes, and I, having grown up on a farm, have always cared deeply for the well-being of animals. Our small family of four includes three dogs, two tortoises, and a cat, but we've also experienced the sorrow of losing some of our beloved pets.

During those difficult times, we faced financial challenges that made traditional cremation services unaffordable. While communal cremation was an option, we wanted something more personal for our pets who loved the outdoors and running free. We created our own services, laying them to rest in the open spaces of nature they enjoyed.

This experience inspired us to help others in similar situations. An so Lunar Sun Fields was born from the belief that all pets and animals should be honored and respected from start to end of the afterlife care process
